Traffic Exchanges
Traffic Exchanges are one of the best ways to get someone to actually look at your website.
How to market:
Step 1) Register for a free account
Step 2) Add the URLs of the sites you want to promote
Step 3) You are ready to browse other member sites in exchange
for your own site to be seen.
The more you surf, the more 'credits' you build which are used to advertise your site. A little bit of time a week can make a big difference with these.
Note that an upgraded account will be allotted many bonus credits each month, which means more page views- so when you are ready this is a good option.
The traffic exchanges I use are below and offer two important things:
1 - A large member base and seen as an exchange leader
2 - Best return plan on clicks, i.e. 1:1 ratios, bonuses & even revenue share
Click on them to open a free account!
Social Networks
Social networks are great platforms to market your programs.
Messages become viral and can reach thousands!
Step 2) Start making friends - lots of them!
Step 3) Along with general info about yourself, post your referral URLs
I would suggest sticking with one or two and staying active rather than
joining too many and diluting your efforts.
Remember to make genuine friendships and don't spam people with your
links. If you are connecting with others you'll generate natural interest in
your program promotion.
Revenue share is something to look for nowadays and Yuwie is a fast
growing social network to look into that pays you to socialize!

Money Making Forums
Money making forums are a great place to market, especially because the audience is already targeted - people who want to make money!
Step 2) Setup an avatar, the image you will use to represent yourself
Step 3) Setup your signature (see below for an example).
This is how you will actually market your referral links.
Step 4) Begin posting helpful replies to topics and asking questions
Your signature should be written to grab attention. When other members read your replies and/or questions, they will naturally be drawn to your signature and will click your link if effectively written.
Example signature:
100% Passive Income! | Break up with your savings account!
Are you tired of working for your money? | Click Here
Remember not to directly promote your referral links, this is against most forum rules, simply focus on contributing to the community and you'll get clicks. Also, if you need help with the coding - just shoot me an email.

Craigslist
Online classified sites, like Craigslist, can be helpful in marketing your links if you do it right.
Step 2) Write up an ad - be creative, think of what would motivate you
Step 3) Post your ad to the classifieds site in a target category & city
Tip for writing your ads:
* Keep it very simple - using only maybe a few sentences
You just want to capture attention and lengthy ads run a high risk of turning
people off rather than converting them into potential leads.

Hi, my name is Java Joe and I'd like to teach you how to generate monthly passive income - at no cost. Yup - you heard that right.
Check it out for yourself - it could really change your life!

2 - Pick one major metropolitan city to post exclusively to
Safe Lists
Safe lists are a collection of email addresses from people who have agreed to receive advertisements. Email ads are then not seen as SPAM by their recipients, and thus considered a safe list. These are certainly a good part of a marketing plan.
Step 1) Register for a free or paid account
Step 2) Write up an ad - maybe even just recycle your Craigslist ads!
Step 3) 'Blast' your email out to the safe list - often reaching millions
All safelists are structured so that you receive emails from other members in exchange for the right to email them in return. I would suggest creating a free gmail or Yahoo! account specifically for these emails.
Example of mine: mylistemails_yahoo.com
There are countless safe lists which you can join. In general they work one of two ways:
1 - Utilizes a credit system (like traffic exchanges) - requires members to
read your email and/or click your link to gain credits.
2 - Preset daily limits to email blasts - no further incentive past the subject of
the email to generate interest in reading your email. Often requires one
time membership purchase and usually has a signifcantly larger
subscriber base then the credit systems.
I only currently use type number 2 with a daily limit of 3.1 million users.
Marketing Plan
Now lets tie all these marketing resources into one comprehensive plan that can be executed to generate routine referral signups.
Daily (less than 45 minutes):
Step 1) Surf all traffic exchanges for 30 minutes, building credits
Step 2) Send out your daily email blast using the safe list mailer
Step 3) Post an ad to Craigslist (I just keep renewing mine)
Once a week (less than 45 minutes):
Step 1) Log on to all social network sites - make a couple friends & market
Step 2) Log on to all forums - post a few replies to topics
This is my marketing plan and it consistently works for me. Feel free to edit
this plan to suite your needs or develop your own!
